Today I'm working on some styling ideas for the beautiful Mori Lee 1656. Our bride is interested in a necklace, earrings, and bracelet to go with the dress. She has tried on a silver necklace with it, but the beading at the top seems to be more of a platinum color than silver, so she's afraid that silver jewelry makes the dress beading look too dark. I have several ideas in mind! ;)

I thought of the Paige earrings right away, because the design on the bodice reminds me so much of them. The great thing about these pieces is that all three of them are plated in rhodium, which is in the platinum family and will read a darker shade of silver. The simple graduated Monique necklace is a nice compliment to the earrings, and the Arrington bracelet brings the sparkle down to the wrist.

Pearls make a lovely accent to this dress. Once again I started with the earrings, gorgeous Swarovski crystal and pearl drops. The Frances necklace is a natural compliment to them, and simple enough not to take away from the dress at all. It also uses a darker rhodium tone. The Amore bracelet finishes this classic look. A simple pearl necklace would also work with these pieces.

Finally, I like the eclectic mix of the vintage style Serephina earrings and Tzarina bracelet. They work well together and with this dress because both are made with Swarovski crystals and use a darker rhodium plating. I would forego a necklace all together with these two statement pieces!

Vera in red? Don't you love it? Vera Wang's Spring 2013 collection is full of beautiful and bold shades of red!

This gown has to be my favorite of her newest collection. The Cardinal strapless ballgown with hand rolled floral and floating Chantilly lace just does it for me. The attention to detail is fabulous.

Of course you could always use a little sparkle to go along with an amazing ball gown!

Oscar de la Renta does it again! Bridal, Spring 2013 collection hit the scene this morning from OscarPRGirl, and it is all just gorgeous.

But of course, it is Oscar de la Renta! The details. The color. It is all quite wonderful. Every gown looks like a piece of artwork. The pretty, light blue is a lovely touch for a wedding gown.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. That is really all I have to say about both of the dresses. Love!

I adore both of these gowns, so much! And, to be honest, if the gown had no color, I would love them the same.

Love this nail color! Wouldn't this be a fabulous something blue? Ahhh! Yes!

And who doesn't love feathers? Yes, that's what I thought. Details.

March 8, 2012. International Women's Day. As women in America sometimes it is hard to even fathom not having the things they talk about in this video. However, there are too many women and children growing up in this world without food, clean water, good friends, a safe place to play... things we can hardly imagine our lives without.

Spring is almost here! Can you say Spring Fever? I know I have a little and can't wait to see more beautiful flowers blooming all around us.

My all time favorite pieces we have at Tigerlilly are just that... our pretty flower combs! They are gorgeous, handmade silk flowers. Our Rose, Jada and Ingenu combs are shown.
